Resolution is a brand I developed for a zoning consultants company based here in New York City. The Client was very specific in the use of colour and the intent of new york being a key theme in the logo development.
It was loosely inspired by art deco and Fritz Lang's Metropolis. The main idea focused around a runner that would expedite zoning plans across the city. The concept of speed playing importance here.
The logo is unconventional given that it can only have limited application. However, I was given considerable creative freedom as it would only take form on business cards or letter heads.
